Bind-It-All Scrappy Notebook Idea

Thanks to our Entourage Coordinator, Roxann Walker, for this great idea on how to turn your scraps into a fun notebook for your children to doodle in!  We have so many scraps lying around in boxes and wonder what to do with them, but the scrapbooker in all of us KNOWS we just can't throw them away!  So...Roxann makes these cute little notebooks for her children and they have fun punching holes and binding and it's a way that she can interact with them and teach them through her love of scrapbooking how to be artistic in their little ways!  We've put together an idea sheet for you to download so you can make great litle notebooks with the Bind-It-All machine and your favorite cardstock scraps!

Christmas In July!!

Hope everyone had a great 4th!  My husband and I actually spent the day working at the warehouse, while my parents went running around town with our kids.  It was great to spend so many uninterrupted hours there getting it more organized.  Now, if we can find another 4-5 days to do that again, we'll have it finished!!

We're going to give everyone gifts for our Christmas in July promotion.  Watch our blog every couple of days for new on line classes and tips & techniques.  These are FREE - all you have to do is click on the link and print them out.  We hope this inspires everyone to learn something new over the summer to use on your pages, cards, paper crafting projects and more!  I'm working on the first one today and will post it tomorrow.

In the meantime, we want to send our congratulations to Aimee Slater from Colorado who won our DreamKuts machine giveaway.  We'll have another contest coming up in August, so watch for it!  It will coincide with new products that will be released at CHA Summer - as soon as we have our hands on them, we'll start another contest!!

Here's a super project created by Amber Winward of our Entourage.  She used one of the Scraptique clipboards and altered it with Teresa Collins Designs Crush Papers.  In this technique, she used the Bind It All V 2.0 to punch holes and bind it with o-wires for a heart shaped foldout.  Great job, Amber!

2009 Entourage Techniques Featuring SNS Entourage Member Irene Tan

Periodically we will post tips and techniques with instructions on our website on "how did we do that"!!  Today I'm featuring Irene Tan from Malaysia who is teaching you how to alter chipboard using Tim Holtz Crackle Paint, Black Diamond Crystal Stickles from Ranger and Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  This is easy to do and the results are amazingly beautiful.  Try it out!!  We have all of these products available on line as well.  Just follow the link to Chipboard Sand Rock Effect to try it out yourself!
