Pink Paislee Projects

Pink Paislee has some gorgeous new lines of papers & embellishments.  Their new lines are 365 Degrees, Bayberry Cottage and Queen Bee.  We have all three in stock as well as their Artisan Line and Expressions.  The projects that you can do with their papers and embellishments are amazing.  Their designers give us tons of inspiration.  One of the things I love best about Pink Paislee is that they continue to inspire us and keep those creative juices flowing.  Here is the latest from their Technique Tuesday blog post and a great idea of what to do with Artisan Tape.  Don't forget that we have a coupon code until April 25 that is APRILSHOWERS for 20% off your entire purchase, except kits and already discounted items.

Adhere several rows of Artisan tape on a piece of Kraft cardstock.

Trace several star shapes and cut them out.

To complete, mat them with solid patterned paper, stitched them with my sewing machine, and accented them with the cork buttons and bella brads.

Distrezz-It-All, Bind-It-All and On-Line Classes

First off, if you haven't seen it or heard about it yet, there's a new kid in town for distressing papers, chipboard, wood, leather and more!!  It's by Zutter Innovative who created the Bind-It-All machine and is called the Distrezz-It-All.  This awesome machine is compact, portable, durable and is the answer to all your distressing needs.  We also have a video tutorial by Nan Paturzo on our website that you can view as well! 

Next, I want to tell everyone about a fabulous on-line class site that I am participating in.   I am taking a couple of classes coming up that may interest you all.   When we travel to conventions, we get to meet a lot of you who own Bind-It-All machines and want to further your knowledge on how to use them to their highest potential.  We do our best to help you in the couple days we are in your area,  and post LOT of ideas on projects on our blog as well, but this will take that another step for you in learning more about your machines.

One class that is being offered is taught by Nan Paturzo who is truly the authority on the Bind-It-All machine and it's workings.  She is offering it at the site My Creative Classroom and it is a class that goes for four weeks teaching four different projects.  I am not personally taking this one, because I know enough about the machine, but I highly recommend Nan's class to everyone.

The other two classes that I am interested in and am taking are by Donna Salazar who has recently released her own product line that works in conjunction with the Bind-It-All as well as being the idea and motivator behind the new Distrezz It All which is Zutter's new distressing machine.

The first class I am taking is called Artsy Fartsy Techniques.  This class will help me learn more about Donna's products and how the distresser works as well as learning new techniques for altered arts.  She's the master of techniques and it's time to learn a few new ones!!

The second class that Donna is teaching is called Distrezz-It-All 101 and that's the basics of the machine, how it was developed to work and the ins and outs of using it.
