Bind-It-All 9" x 9" Acrylic Raffle Box

I just love the way this display for our booth turned out.  It's a 9" x 9" acrylic box made with five pieces of Zutter acrylic (there are two in a package, so if you wanted to make one, you need three packages).  You punch holes with the Bind-It-All in the sides and bottoms and then tie it together with ribbons.  I accented it with Teresa Collins Bella Girl papers and we will have it in our booth for our raffle.  The only problem is that I copied our raffle forms on yellow paper and my children, of course, pointed out that I need to re-do them in pink now to keep in the theme of the box.  It's also embellished with Prima flowers and Prima Say It In Crystal Swirls!  So.....I'll have to recopy them!  Love their acrylics!  They come in all sizes and a tabbed folder, too.

A Taste of Scraptique Part Deux

We're so happy that you guys are excited about another year of A Taste of Scraptique!  We will be teaching all new layouts this year and "kicking it up a notch".  This is geared toward the advanced paper crafting artist and is VERY VERY fast paced.  The good news is that we have purchased a digital overhead projector that hooks up to a laptop and will be teaching via a power-point presentation this year.  I think it will help move the class along faster and give you a much better quality step-by-step tutorial while we are teaching the class.

Our layouts are exclusive to the classes and completely different than any of our monthly kit layouts.  They are designs just for the conventions.  We will be teaching the SAME layouts at all of the conventions this year (or until the papers run out!!).  If any of our Scraptique members would like to purchase a set of these exclusive layouts, just let me know!  We'll be offering them to our members as well as an add-on.

Layout #1 is going to be using mostly Teresa Collins Designs products (who we exclusively represent at the conventions this year).  We will be using her new Journal-It Girl papers along with lots of gorgeous embellishments and Prima flowers.  It's hard to see the right side of the layout in the photo, but the bottom portion is a triple layered file folder mini-album that is glued together and cut with the Bind-It-All machine and has lots of ribbons tied through it.

CK Convention Simple Schemes Crop

We have been having lots of people e-mail us about our class information for the upcoming shows.  We are going to be teaching a one page layout at the Thursday night Simple Schemes Crop featuring products by Teresa Collins Designs.  Teresa has been sweet enough to donate all the patterned papers from her Damask collection for this crop and we will be teaching this layout.  The Simple Schemes Crop is so cool.  We are assigned a base sketch as a company and have to design a layout based on that sketch that can be taught in 15 minutes or less.  When the class attendees leave the crop, they will have tons of sketches and tons of layouts to take home.  I think it's an awesome concept - all 12" x 12" pages and something that can really teach peole how to use sketches, flip them around and adapt them to their personal use.  Here's our sketch and our layout for this year.

New Month, New Kits!!
