Prima, Prima & More Prima!!!!

The wait is finally over - we're getting in a truckload full of great new products from Prima, so if you've been waiting for it, check out our website and it will all be loaded this weekend.  I am also pleased to announce that our own Florida Prima Donna, Michelle Van Etten, will be at our warehouse event in September to teach a bunch of Prima classes.  The "A Star Is Born" Album is actually made of the acrylic pages that Michelle (along with Trish) designed for Prima - I hope we can have her teach that here at the warehouse crop.  In person it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.  We will be having a warehouse sale in conjunction with the crop on Saturday & Sunday, September 13 & 14.  The crop that is limited to 100 people all day Saturday & until 5PM on Sunday.  The warehouse sale will be open to the entire public and will have awesome sales & clearance stuff only offered to our local girls!!  We will also have the Bind-It-All Queen from Tampa down to teach and a few other girls.  Here's a few peeks of the Prima products we are getting in:

Dreams....

Normally for me - nothing personal - it's a rule of blogging - I like to keep it mostly an informational place that you can come to for ideas and updates on our classes and schedules.  But....today marks something special to me - the day my first son was born - he didn't stay with us for long - he had a condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome and lived for 15 short weeks.  Today he would have been 15 years old.  This picture is the only one that I have that was a semblance of the possibility of a smile - he was looking up at me and I swore he smiled.  We were never able to hold him without tubes and wires and things, so he was always attached to something.  The hardest part was watching him on a daily basis suffer through it while you were hoping for a transplant.  The problem was that I couldn't hope for one - that would have been too cruel - I could never wish that on another family.  I just wished that he would make it somehow.  Here's to you, my baby - wish you were here.

Scraptique May Kit

I posted the pictures for the Scraptique May kit today - I tried to get them on our website on Monday, but I'm a perfectionist and had to keep "tweaking" them until I thought they were perfect.  Hope you guys like them!!  I really love the floral KaiserCraft layout - it was what I had planned for a Mother's Day kit - my idea was three words saying "Mommy" "Mother" "Mom" and then having varying photos of us - my mother is a saint - she truly is - she's pulled us through thick and thin and has completely kept us all grounded - my Dad worships the ground she walks on and is as in love with her as he was when he married her almost 55 years ago - and I will do a layout that depicts that using this entire layout, but I didn't have pictures that fit - think of it as the perfect Mom Kit and be proud of it!!!Kc_floral The other two layouts can been seen on our website.

We had so much fun at the show this weekend - I finally got to meet Amber Winward who is working for us creating great designs and layouts for the booth and then once she's had her baby, she'll be back working the road again.  What a doll!!  It was a pleasure to work with the Amber / Roxy team.  I'm very blessed to have such a great group of vivacious, happy girls working for us - between the team I had in Orlando two weeks ago and the team I had in St. Louis this past weekend, it's just a pleasure and I thank the girls for every ounce of sweat and smiles that goes into it.

I also took my 10 year old daughter (she worked our booth most of the time doing make & takes - UNLESS she was taking one of the fabulous Quick Quotes classes with Michelle - everyone should sign up for a Quick Quotes class -they rock!) with me this past weekend to St. Louis and she and I got some really great Mommy/daughter time at night.  We did lots of paper crafting and just hung out with Amber & Roxy and had some fun winding down.  Hope to see you at a show soon!!!
