CHA Photos Set 1

Okay - I've edited a bunch of the photos and have a bunch more to do - here's a few at random for you to look at.  I don't take a lot of photos of people - I tend to lean toward projects, layouts, embellishing, etc., - things people can look at and drool over.  I did, however snap a shot of Trisha (one of the Prima Fire & Ice girls) working at the Prima booth with a customer.  I busted up laughing, though, at the expression on that customer's face when I interrupted and said "Hey, Trisha, smile for me!" and took the shot.  That's some mean glare on the customer's face - too funny!!!!  The other picture with people in it is a man who I don't know, my son Jacob, myself (in the yellow shirt) and Ilene Albert Nelson who is the VP in charge of sales for 7Gypsies talking to me while we were doing the make & take at their booth.  They have some great products.  The rest of them are Technique Tuesday stamps (just some of the new ones) - we ordered every single new one and will have them on our website for ordering - if you're a Technique Tuesday nut, you need to scoop those baby's up!!  More pictures of the Fancy Pants Designs & Maya Road's booths with some of their projects & layouts.  Tim Holtz Grungeboard - I love the beachy layout he did - it was even better in person!  I'll post more soon.  Also, notice that on some of the pictures, you'll see our business card in the background.  Jacob kept slipping the card behind the projects and I took a ton of pictures before I noticed it!  By the way, dinosaur's are the new birds.

Headed Home From CHA...

We'll be home this afternoon from CHA - I've got tons of pictures to download for everyone to see.  It was a very good show for me.  I met a lot of people that we have worked with over the last year that I only knew through e-mails or phone calls and it was nice to actually meet them in person.  I have never personally met Greta Hammond, although she has been designing for me for a year & a half, so I got to meet her at the Scenic Route booth where she was working.  We got to visit with Jenny Bowlin, Heidi Swapp, Jodi Sanford from Fancy Pants, Lisa from Crate Paper (she designs everything and Steve handles the ordering), Lance Anderson from Rusty Pickle, Kristi Coy, Dan David who is re-designing the Lighthouse Memories oval cutter and marketing it with Tonic, Mick from KaiserCraft, Tami, Michelle & Trisha from Prima (AND I got to help in the Prima class on Saturday morning which was a hoot!), Teresa Collins, Melody Ross, the 7Gypsies girls, Tina from Glue Arts and lots more - I know I'm forgetting a bunch of people.   We made a lot of new contacts and picked up a few more fun things to carry in the booth.  I placed LOTS of orders for products for our new website which is moving along and right on schedule - we're still looking at a release date of next week and I'm pretty confident it will happen.  I have to spend the weekend loading all of the new product that we just purchased.  Remember, though, that a bunch of the new products that are introduced don't actually ship until March or April, so don't expect it all at once!!!!  Photos coming soon once I have time to download & edit!!

Basic Grey Sneak Peek #1 Archaic

I think out of all of the new Basic Grey that this is going to be my favorite, because of Animal Kingdom.  We have been there several times - it's probably my children's favorite park in the Disney World group of parks (or course, don't mention the Everest ride to Jordan or boy, will you get an earful about how her Daddy tricked her into going on it when she doesn't like roller coasters) - but this will be fabulous for pages of Animal Kingdom  In fact, I'll probably teach a class using it at one of the future Tampa or Orlando shows.  Watch for this and matching cardstock packs on our website with all the matching rub-ons, buttons, ribbons - all the embellishments - we will have all the new Basic Grey in stock!

7Gypsies ATC Card Holder New Sneak!

How many of you have one of the 7Gypsies ATC Card Holders?  If you have one and have already altered it, please e-mail me your photos so I can put them on out blog during the next week - I'll post all of them on February 15!!  I'd love to see your photos.  The one that everyone votes as their favorite will get a free set of the new ATC plastic card holders that protect the cards (when they come out in March!!).  I think these protectors rock!  I love the way that the display shows them with the small $1 stamps that we all have way too many of - they can be categorized by holiday and it's a great way to grab and them and use them and keep them organized.  So...SHOW ME YOUR ATC HOLDERS!!!!!  If you don't have one, we have them in stock and ready to ship - love these things!

Crate Paper Sneak Peeks #1

One of my other favorite companies is Crate Paper!  They have got some of the best looking paper coming up - I think it's going to be very popular.  We will carry all of it on our website, at some of the conventions and also have matching Bazzill cardstock packs that go with it (as with ALL of our paper lines this year - watch for Fancy Pants Bazzill matching cardstock packs, too!).  The first one is the Blue Hill Collection, the second is called Katlin, the third is called Static, the fourth Sweet Branch.
