Crop For MS Burlington NC

I'd like to endorse a crop (yes, that sounds political, but while listening to the State of the Union Address, I thought appropriate!) in Burlington, North Carolina.  This is something I read about on 2Peas and since my brother has Multiple Sclerosis, I wanted to bring light to it in case any of our readers from North Carolina (and man, there are a LOT of you!!) wanted to attend.

The girl that is hosting it is Jaci Kinkaid.  It starts on Saturday, February 8 at 6PM and goes until Sunday, February 9 until 10PM - for just $40 you get dinner on Saturday night and breakfast and lunch on Sunday and full time crop time - just bring your sleeping bag!  It's an amazing crop time and if you're in the area, please support it!!!  Jaci also has a Cuttlebug and QK handle with tons of dies (sizzix, ellison, sizzlet, cuttlebug, quickutz and some of the new disney ones), punches and other tools that will be available for use. A Bind It All will be available too - this from her e-mails!  We're donating some door prizes and things for the attendees.  I've attached her flier in case anyone wants more information.  Kim

And Our Next Member

For the next one (and these are not in any particular order), I am proud to introduce to you a very talented girl who I had the pleasure of meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Creating Keepsakes Convention.  She had e-mailed wanting to help us in our booth and not only did we have a ball of fire kicking in the booth, but I also made a great new friend.  Introducing to you Roxann Walker.

Rwalker

Roxann lives in Kansas with her husband and four children.  She is going to do some traveling with us this year, so look for her at a few shows doing make & takes or keeping the booth exciting & happy!  This is a photo of a booth display that Roxann made with Fancy Pants' Holly Jolly papers.  We have all of the girls making display signs for the paper lines we are carrying and are going to have you vote on the best one throughout the year!!  I love hers - all that ribbon is just yummy!Holly_jolly_sign

The 2008 SNS Entourage

I'm so proud to showcase a new designer every other day for the next few weeks from our 2008 Scrapbooks 'N Stickers Entourage.  Our girls are so talented that I hope you find inspiration in each and every one of them throughout the year.  I did not put out a "call" for our team, but rather chose each and every one of them myself for their unique ways that they used products and their variety in designing.  I will be showing you their work in page layouts, paper crafting projects, mini books and more!  Today, I'm pleased to introduce to you Linda Albrecht.

Linda lives in Minnesota with her husband and children (one of which lives on his own now).  She is one of the most talented artists I've seen and have admired her work for years.  Here is a Mother's Day accordion album that she has designed for us.  It's just incredible!  Don't forget to click on the photo to enlarge it!!

More CKC Sneak Peeks!!!

This is one of the layouts from the Scraptique class.  I hope you guys like it and would love to hear your input!  I'll also be announcing our new Design Team for 2008 with a new person each day for the next couple weeks.  We have an extensive Design Team and are very proud of them and their efforts.  I chose them for their diversity in design - I think you'll all like it.  They all have a variety of strengths which is what I was striving for so you can learn something new from all of them.  Our new website is going to have a video portion on it where we will be highlighting a new technique every couple of weeks!  Remember to click on the image to make it bigger.  Anyone wanting a kit can just e-mail me!  Kim

CKC Class Sneak Peek #2

This is one of my favorite classes that I've done - I think because it showcases my husband & kids (yeah, I think the guy's hot) - but it is so good for so many reasons.  You can use this for your father (which I'm planning on doing one for my dad for Father's Day - you can use it for your brother (which I'm planning on doing one for my brother for Father's Day) - you can use it for a friend (which I'm also planning on sending one to my good friend, Kenny), your husband, a co-worker that you want to do something nice for - the possibilities are endless!  I only did the front side for the class, but you get enough product to finish the back-side, too.  The album itself is a 6" x 9" accordion album by Junkitz and is a great size for displaying in an office or on a shelf in your home.  We'll be teaching this at the Scrapbook Expo's as well in the Bay Area, California and in Orlando, Florida.  Our classes for California & Florida change, because we do not teach the same thing in similar areas.  I'll do it in San Diego, too, because that's far enough away from Bay.  Hope you like it!!

CKC Class Sneak Peek #1

I wanted to be able to give you all a sneak peek at one of the classes we are teaching exclusively at the Creating Keepsakes Conventions.  This one is a circle album made of acrylic and chipboard circles - 6" in size for the largest and 4" for the smallest.  It is seven pages (14 front & back) and it uses the Prima Steel Toe Mary Jane papers, Prima embellishments, chipboard letters, buttons and bucklez and more!  The class is called Always & Forever - I think there are still some seats left for Houston, but know it's filling up pretty fast!  Anyone who is not going to be at one of the Conventions that would like to buy a class kit can just e-mail me and purchase one from us as well!  This is part of Kits By Design which is a new venture that Michelle Van Etten & I have gone into.  You'll be seeing lots of great project kits like this from us all year long!  Michelle used pictures or her daughter on this, but it's perfect for any type of a relationship album showcasing you & friends, your loved ones, husband, etc.  These are just three of the pages for you to see - if you click on them, it enlarges the picture!!
